The EPP candidate for President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, was in Braunschweig, Germany on 26 April to participate in a campaign event with David McAllister, the lead candidate of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) in the European elections.

Jean-Claude Juncker delivered a keynote speech at the Eintracht Stadion and took questions from the audience alongside David McAllister.

After that, Jean-Claude Juncker and David McAllister boarded the “Juncker for President” campaign bus and held a Twitter chat in which Twitter users were able to ask their questions about the future of Europe to both candidates.
